“We are honored to serve as the official nonprofit partner for the Houston Dash home opener during Red Cross Month,” said Interim Chief Executive Officer Dr. Linda Braddy. “This is a great opportunity to highlight the impact of neighbors helping neighbors. Every day, Red Cross volunteers, blood donors, and community partners step up to support people facing emergencies and unexpected challenges. By standing alongside the Dash, we are proud to recognize the compassion and commitment that make our humanitarian mission possible and to invite others across the Houston area to get involved.”
Throughout Red Cross Month, the American Red Cross recognizes the everyday heroes, volunteers, blood donors, partners, and supporters, who power its humanitarian mission. Joining with the Dash amplifies that message on a highly visible stage.
“The Houston Dash is committed to inspiring and empowering our community through the game of soccer while showcasing world class athletes at the highest level of women’s professional soccer. Through competition, community engagement, and inclusive experiences, the club strives to create opportunities for women and girls in sport and make a positive impact both on and off the field,” said the Houston Dash.
